How to Get Out of Your Funk and in to the Good Loop

We all have those times in our life where things don’t seem to be moving ahead. We feel stuck. We’ve lost our confidence, our mojo, sometimes even our giddyup.

Tim Sanders wrote a book about how to get that back and he came on my radio show to talk about it. It’s called Today We Are Rich. Tim tells his own story of his sideways years and how his Grandma pulled him out of it. She was a wise woman with great insight. I highly recommend the book.

Here’s my short interview with Tim:

I also love the questions Tim asked his friend who was going through his own sideways years:

“What are you not doing today that you were when I first met you?”

“What investments in yourself and others are you no longer making?”

Most of us have had success. Sometimes we backslide because we quit doing all the things that made us successful. We can get it back by going back to those questions.

Even if you’re doing well right now,

“What are you not doing today that you used to do?”

“What investments in yourself and others are you no longer making?”
